Make sure that the GEN FAULT warning is operative when there are no more indications on the ECAM ELEC page.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure that the GEN1 (2) pushbutton switch is released.

A. Operational Test of the GEN FAULT Warning:
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the panel 35VU:
  • push the GEN1(2) pushbutton switch.
On the panel 35VU:
  • the FAULT legend of the GEN1(2) pushbutton switch comes on.
2.On the panel 35VU:
  • release the GEN1(2) pushbutton switch.
On the panel 35VU:
  • the FAULT legend of the GEN1(2) pushbutton switch goes off,
  • the OFF legend of the GEN1(2) pushbutton switch comes on.
