Make sure that the transfer function is off when you release the BUS TIE pushbutton switch.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches are pushed.

A. Operational test of the transfer inhibition

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the panel 35VU: release the BUS TIE pushbutton switch.	In the cockpit, on the panel 35VU: loss of the power supply from the electrical ground power unit: .the OFF legend of the BUS TIE pushbutton switch comes on. NOTE: This shows that the transfer contactors are open. The batteries are the only available power supply.
2.On the panel 35VU: push the BUS TIE pushbutton switch.	In the cockpit, on the panel 35VU: the OFF legend of the BUS TIE pushbutton switch goes off. All the aircraft electrical circuits are supplied.
