OPERATIONAL CHECK OF TRANSFER INHIBITION
Make sure that the transfer function is off when you release the BUS TIE pushbutton switch.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) On the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches are pushed.

A. Operational test of the transfer inhibition
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the panel 35VU:
  • release the BUS TIE pushbutton switch.
In the cockpit, on the panel 35VU:
  • loss of the power supply from the electrical ground power unit:
    .the OFF legend of the BUS TIE pushbutton switch comes on.
NOTE: This shows that the transfer contactors are open.
The batteries are the only available power supply.
2.On the panel 35VU:
  • push the BUS TIE pushbutton switch.
In the cockpit, on the panel 35VU:
  • the OFF legend of the BUS TIE pushbutton switch goes off.
    All the aircraft electrical circuits are supplied.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
