(1) Carefully remove the lens (1) with a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL from the reading light (2).

(2) Pull the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (2) to remove the lens (3) from the reading light (4).
Subtask 23-73-64-480-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The lens stays on the tool during the adjustment procedure.
(1) Carefully push the suction end (1) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (2) onto the lens (3) of the reading light (4). (2) Pull the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (2) to remove the lens (3) from the reading light (4).
D. Apply the adjustment end of the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT to the housing of the reading light and turn the lever counterclockwise to lock it.
Subtask 23-73-64-869-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the MAIN ON and POWER READ pushbutton.
Subtask 23-73-64-480-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the MAIN ON and POWER READ pushbutton.
F. Apply the adjustment end (5) of the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT (2) to the housing of the reading light (4) and turn the lever (8) counterclockwise to lock it.
Subtask 23-73-64-869-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL G. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the sub-panel of the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the LIGHTS MAIN ON/OFF pushbutton.
(3) On the CABIN LIGHTING page, push the R/L button.
(4) Adjust the convertible seats to the extended position.
(5) At the passenger seats, pull down the folding tables to the normal position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the sub-panel of the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the LIGHTS MAIN ON/OFF pushbutton.
(3) On the CABIN LIGHTING page, push the R/L button.
(4) Adjust the convertible seats to the extended position.
(5) At the passenger seats, pull down the folding tables to the normal position.

A. Turn the adjusting device (3) ccw to release it and remove it from the reading light (2).

(1) Install the lens (1) to the reading light (2).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

C. Turn the lever (8) of the adjusting device (3) clockwise to release it and remove it from the reading light (4).

(1) Put the suction end (1) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (2) with the lens (3) onto the reading light (4).
(2) Push the lens (3) into the correct position until you hear a click.
(3) Press the pushbutton (7) to release the lens (3).

(2) Push the lens (3) into the correct position until you hear a click.
(3) Press the pushbutton (7) to release the lens (3).
E. On the FAP, push the MAIN OFF and POWER READ pushbutton.

(1) On the FAP, push the LIGHTS MAIN ON/OFF pushbutton.
(2) On the CABIN LIGHTING page, activate the R/L SET button.
