Subtask 23-73-00-860-162-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-73-00-869-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Programming of the cabin zones
   (1) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the CABIN PROG key.
  • the CABIN PROGRAMMING page with an activated ENTER ACCESS CODE window shows.
   (2) On the numeric keyboard, enter the access code '318' and push the ENTER key.
  • the ENTER ACCESS CODE window disappears.
   (3) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page, push the related CABIN ZONES key.
  • the related CABIN ZONES window shows.

NOTE: It is possible to select in addition to the cabin zone programming the non-smoker area programming, if a NON-SMOKER A/C is not selected.
   (4) On the CABIN ZONES window, push the related 'Up' or 'Down' key to change the end of the cabin zone.
  • the selected seat row numbers are indicated online.

NOTE: A minimum of one seat row must remain in each cabin zone. A cabin zone can not be deleted.
   (5) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page, push the activated CABIN ZONES key.
  • the CABIN ZONES window disappears.

NOTE: If required, select the next cabin zone or non-smoker area for programming before saving the data.
   (6) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page, push the SAVE key.
  • a message box with information about the target layout, the date and the new count shows.
   (7) On the message box, push the OK key.
  • a message box 'SAVING IN PROGRESS / FAP BLOCKED' shows.
  • after some seconds the message changes to 'SAVING COMPLETED' with layout, count and date information.
   (8) On the message box, push the OK key.
  • the message box disappears.
  • the CABIN PROGRAMMING page shows.
   (9) On the FAP, push the CABIN STATUS key.
  • the CABIN STATUS page shows.

B. Programming of Non-Smoker Areas

NOTE: The programming of Non-Smoker Areas is disabled when the A/C is in the NON-SMOKER A/C configuration.
   (1) On the FAP push the CABIN PROG key.
  • the CABIN PROG key is illuminated.
  • the CABIN PROGRAMMING page with an activated ENTER ACCESS CODE window comes on.
   (2) On the numeric keyboard of the ENTER ACCESS CODE window enter the access code 318 and push the ENTER key.
  • the ENTER ACCESS CODE window disappears.
   (3) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page push the related SMOKE PROG. key.
  • the SMOKE PROG. key is illuminated.
  • the related NON SMOKER AREAS window comes on.
NOTE: It is possible to select in addition to the non smoker area programming the cabin zone programming. (Refer to the Cabin Zones programming)
   (4) On the NON SMOKER AREAS window push the related 'Up' or 'Down' key to change the end of non smoker areas in the related cabin zone.
  • the selected seat row numbers are indicated online.
   (5) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page push the activated SMOKE PROG. key.
  • the NON SMOKER AREAS window disappears.
  • the SMOKE PROG. key is not illuminated anymore.
NOTE: If required, select the next cabin zone or non smoker area for programming before saving the data.
   (6) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page push the SAVE key.
  • a message box with information about the target layout, the date and the new count comes on.
   (7) On the message box push the OK key.
  • a message box SAVING IN PROGRESS / FAP BLOCKED comes on.
  • after some seconds the message changes to SAVING COMPLETED with layout, count and date information.
   (8) On the message box push the OK key.
  • the message box disappears.
  • the CABIN PROGRAMMING page is shown.
   (9) On the FAP push the CABIN STATUS key.
  • the CABIN STATUS page comes on.

C. Programming of Non-Smoker Aircraft Configuration
   (1) On the FAP push the CABIN PROG key.
  • the CABIN PROG key is illuminated.
  • the CABIN PROGRAMMING page with an activated ENTER ACCESS CODE window comes on.
   (2) On the numeric keyboard of the ENTER ACCESS CODE window enter the access code 318 and push the ENTER key.
  • the ENTER ACCESS CODE window disappears.
   (3) On the CABIN PROGRAMMING page push the NON SMOKER A/C - ON/OFF key.
  • the NON SMOKER A/C - ON/OFF key is illuminated.
  • the SMOKE PROG. switches are disabled.
   (4) If you change another datum on the CABIN PROGRAMMING page:
  • Push the SAVE key.
NOTE: The CIDS keeps the NON-SMOKER A/C status automatically. It is not necessary to push the save key.
  • a message box with information about the target layout, the date and the new count comes on.
   (5) On the message box push the OK key.
  • a message box SAVING IN PROGRESS / FAP BLOCKED comes on.
  • after some seconds the message changes to SAVING COMPLETED with layout, count and date information.
   (6) On the message box push the OK key.
  • the message box disappears.
  • the CABIN PROGRAMMING page is shown.
   (7) On the FAP push the CABIN STATUS key.
  • the CABIN STATUS page comes on.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
