A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

Subtask 22-70-00-860-153-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Check of the Current PERF and IDLE Factor
(1) Then check the current PERF factor and IDLE factor data in the Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU) 1 or 2:
>MCDU Menu >Data Index >A/C Status
(2) Write down the current IDLE and PERF shown in green in the MCDU:

4. Procedure
Subtask 22-70-00-860-155-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Change of the PERF Factor (on Ground Only)
(1) Press the MCDU DATA key and then the A/C STATUS prompt in order to access the A/C STATUS page.
(2) Enter the change code in the CHG CODE field (5L button):
-The default value for this code is "ARM".
(3) Enter the current IDLE/new PERF factor in the MCDU scratchpad separated by a "/".
(a) For example: "-2/+1" (take current IDLE from previous step and new PERF from attached table).
(4) Press the corresponding key to insert the new IDLE and PERF factors. The new IDLE and PERF factors are displayed in large blue font.

B. Ensure that the values have changed.
(1) After modification, go to the other MCDU and note the values down.
MCDU Menu >Data Key> A/C Status
________ / ________ (write down the + and - sign as well)
(2) Check that the IDLE / PERF values are the ones introduced in previous steps.
(a) If they are not, repeat the procedure until the IDLE / PERF value is the same as the one provided by VLG Engineering.

5. Close-up
Subtask 22-70-00-860-151-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the MCDU MENU line select key to get the MCDU MENU page.
(2) Fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
