3. Job Set-up
Subtask 12-22-52-010-065-B
A. Get Access
   (1) Open the forward or aft cargo-compartment door (referred to as cargo door) and safety it with the actuator safety locks (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the opened cargo door.
   (3) Remove the door lining and insulation from the applicable cargo door to get access to inner skin (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-13-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001).
   (4) Remove the access panel from the inner skin of the applicable cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-21-000-010) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-21-000-010).

4. Procedure

A. Lubrication of the Door Handle
   (1) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the greaser of the door handle shaft. Refer to the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
   (2) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the pivot points of the door handle flap.
   (3) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the handle flap spring.
   (4) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the bearings of the serrated shaft.
   (5) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the spring bolt.
   (6) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the mating surface of the maltese cross latch and the maltese cross lock.
   (7) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the mating surface of the handle catch hook.
   (8) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the mating surface of the roller lever.
   (9) Remove the unwanted grease or oil with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

A. Lubrication of the External Cargo-Door Handle
   (1) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) on the greaser of the door handle shaft. Refer to the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
   (2) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the pivot points of the door handle flap.
   (3) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the handle flap spring.
   (4) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the bearings of the serrated shaft.
   (5) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the compression spring.
   (6) Apply Mineral base Lubricating Oil-General & Water-displacing Preservative Low Temp. - (Material No.03BDB9) on the spring bolt.
   (7) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the mating surface of the maltese cross latch and the maltese cross lock.
   (8) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the mating surface of the handle catch hook.
   (9) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the mating surface of the roller lever.
   (10) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the pushbutton leg spring and the attachment pins.
   (11) Remove the unwanted grease or oil with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

B. Close Access
   (1) Install the access panel on the inner skin of the applicable cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-21-400-010) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-21-400-010).
   (2) Install the door lining and the insulation on the applicable cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-13-400-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-400-001).
   (3) Remove the actuator safety locks and close the applicable cargo door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
