NOTE: This is an EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) procedure. EWIS is defined in ESPM 20-33-11.

A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position.
(2) Remove access panels 590AB ( 690AB) and 590BB ( 690BB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-011).

4. Procedure
Subtask 05-25-90-210-050-A

A. Inspection
(1) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and/or the MIRROR - INSPECTION.
(2) Do a general visual inspection of the aileron.
(3) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage.
(4) Make sure that all the installations (wiring, ducting and piping) are correctly attached.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-25-90-410-050-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install access panels 590AB ( 690AB) and 590BB ( 690BB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-011).
(3) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
