DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable access panel.

A. Removal of the Access Panels 590AB(690AB), 590BB(690BB)
(1) For the access panel 590AB(690AB):
(a) Hold the panel (1) and remove the bolts (2).
(b) Carefully remove the panel (1).
(2) For the access panel 590BB(690BB):
(a) Hold the panel (3) and remove the bolts (4).
(b) Carefully remove the panel (3).
