A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-32-41-010-107-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

F. Removal of the pin and roller from the latch fitting
(1) Remove the pin and roller from the latch fitting (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-000-003).

G. Cleaning of the pin and roller
(1) Use a cotton cloth with methyl ethyl ketone (Material No.CP1040) to clean the pin and roller.

Subtask 78-32-41-640-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Lubrication of the pin and roller
(1) Apply a thin coat of MoS_2 dry film lubricant (Material No.CP5062) on the pin and the internal diameter of the roller.
(2) Let the MoS_2 dry film lubricant (Material No.CP5062) dry for 5 minutes at ambient temperature.
Subtask 78-32-41-420-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Apply a thin coat of MoS_2 dry film lubricant (Material No.CP5062) on the pin and the internal diameter of the roller.
(2) Let the MoS_2 dry film lubricant (Material No.CP5062) dry for 5 minutes at ambient temperature.
B. Installation of the latch fitting pin and roller
(1) Install the pin and roller on the latch fitting (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-400-003).

NOTE: Make sure that the MoS_2 dry film lubricant (Material No.CP5062) is dry.
F. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
