Subtask 78-32-41-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-32-41-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

A. Manual Deployment of the Blocker Door
(1) Turn the Dzus fastener on the thermal blanket (40) to loosen it and remove the blankets (30), (35) and (40) from the blocker door latch (15).
(2) Turn the manual unlock shaft on the blocker latch to the unlock position with a 5/16 in. (7.94mm) wrench.
(5) If maintenance has to be performed with the blocker door in the open position, install the HIX3005 SAFETY SLEEVE - PIVOTING DOOR ACTUATOR on the blocker door actuator.
(1) Turn the Dzus fastener on the thermal blanket (40) to loosen it and remove the blankets (30), (35) and (40) from the blocker door latch (15).
(2) Turn the manual unlock shaft on the blocker latch to the unlock position with a 5/16 in. (7.94mm) wrench.
NOTE: The manual unlock shaft can be accessed through a slot on the right or left side of the blocker door latch.
(3) Turn the manual unlock square on the hydraulic actuator to the unlock position. NOTE: The blocker door automatically disengages from its hook.
(4) Open the blocker door: CAUTION:
DO NOT PUSH ON THE STOW SWITCH LEVER WHEN BLOCKER DOOR IS OPENED OR DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.
(a) Open the blocker door by manually pulling on its edge. (5) If maintenance has to be performed with the blocker door in the open position, install the HIX3005 SAFETY SLEEVE - PIVOTING DOOR ACTUATOR on the blocker door actuator.
