3. Job Set-up

A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010)

A. Installation of the Core EGT Harness

NOTE: For more information about the minimum clearance allowed, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 70-71-01-00).
   (1) Apply V10-077lubricant (engine oil) to the threads of the bolts (95), (89), (83), (79), (75), (66), (62), (56), (51), (45), (40), (36), (29), (22), (17), (10), (5) and (1).
   (2) Install the four screws (95) and the four nuts (96) that attach the electrical receptacle 4007VC to the bracket (94) on flange FJ at position V.

   (3) Install the four screws (95) and the four nuts (96) that attach the electrical receptacle 4007VC to the bracket (94) at position V.

   (4) TORQUE the four nuts (96) to between 8 and 6 lbf.in (0.09 and 0.07 m.daN ) T.
   (5) Connect the electrical connector 4007VC-A to the electrical receptacle 4007VC.
   (6) Install the spacer (92) at the position noted during removal (
Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (89), the washer (90), the spacer (92) and the nut (93) that attach the clip (91) to the lug on the tube 1 at position U.
   (7) Install the spacer (86) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (83), the washer (84), the spacer (86) and the nut (88) that attach the clips (85) and (87) to the lug on the tube 7 at position T.
   (8) Install the bolt (79), the washer (80) and the nut (82) that attach the clip (81) to the lug on the tube 1 at position S.
   (9) Install the bolt (75), the washer (76) and the nut (78) that attach the clip (77) to the lug on the tube 7 at position R.
   (10) Make sure the clip nut (74) is installed to mounting bracket (73).
   (11) Install the spacer (69) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (66), the washer (67) and the spacer (69) that attach the clip (68), (70) and (71) to the mounting brackets (72) and (73) at position Q.
   (12) Install the bolt (62), the washer (63) and the nut (65) that attach the clip (64) to the lug on the tube 1 at position P.

   (13) Install the spacer (58) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (56), the spacer (58) and the nut (60) that attach the clips (57) and (59) to the lug on the tube 5 at position N.

   (25) Install the bolt (40) and the washer (41) that attach the clip (42) to the bracket (43) at position J.
   (26) Install the bolt (36), the washer (37), and the nut (39) that attach the clip (38) to the lug on the tube 4 at position H.

   (27) Make sure the clip nut (35) is installed to bracket (34).
   (28) Install the spacer (32) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (29), the washer (30) and the spacer (32) that attach the clips (31) and (33) to the bracket (34) at position G.

   (31) Install the spacer (20) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (17), the washer (18), the spacer (20) and the nut (21) that attach the clip (19) to the lug on the tube 3 at position E.
   (32) Install the spacers (13) and (15) at the positions noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (10), the washer (11), the two spacers (13) and (15) and the nut (16) that attach the clips (12) and (14) to the lug on the tube 3 at position D.
   (33) Install the spacer (8) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-000-804). Install the bolt (5), the washer (6) the spacer (8) and the nut (9) that attach the clip (7) to the lug on the tube 2 at position C.
   (34) Install the bolt (1), the washer (2) and the nut (4) that attach the clip (3) to the lug on the tube 1 at position B.
   (35) TORQUE the nuts (4), (9), (16), (21), (27), (39), (54), (60), (65), (78), (82), (88), (93) to between 45 and 36 lbf.in (0.51 and 0.41 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
   (36) TORQUE the bolts (29), (40), (45), (51) and (66) to between 45 and 36 lbf.in (0.51 and 0.41 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
   (37) Connect the core EGT harness to the thermocouple junction box (Ref. AMM TASK 77-21-43-400-010).

B. Test Requirements
   (1) Do an operational test of the FADEC (Ref. AMM TASK 73-22-00-710-040) and check on CFDS if no fault is present concerning core EGT harness.
   (2) Do an idle leak check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-012).
   (3) On the upper ECAM DU, check that the EGT indication is available.

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the thrust reverser halves (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-410-010):
