C. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to move the slat and flap control lever.
   (2) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (3) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
   (4) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

D. Get Access
   (1) Open access door 811.
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.

E. Removal for Access
   (1) Remove the Multipurpose Control and Display Units (MCDUs) 3CA1 and 3CA2 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
   (2) Remove the radio management panels 1RG1 and 1RG2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
   (3) Remove the audio control panels 2RN1 and 2RN2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
   (4) Remove the weather radar control unit 3SQ (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-000-001).
   (5) Remove the ATC control unit 3SH (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001).
   (6) Remove the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
     (a) Release the fasteners of the panel (1) and disengage the panel (1) from its housing.
     (b) Disconnect the connector (3) from the panel (1).
     (c) Remove the panel (1).
     (d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (7) Remove the screws (7).
   (8) Remove the ventilation plates (8).
   (9) Disconnect the clamps (9).
   (10) Remove the screws (6) and washers (5).
   (11) Remove the plates (4) and (10).
   (12) Remove the pitch trim control mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 27-41-41-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 76-11-41-480-055-A
A. Install the 98DNSA20208120 RIGGING PIN (11) in the artificial feel unit.

B. Removal of the Throttle Control Lever Assembly
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
   (1) Remove and discard the two cotter pins (30).
   (2) Remove the two nuts (31), the two washers (32) and the two bolts (34).
   (3) Make sure that the two bushes (33) stay bonded.
   (4) Remove the links.
   (5) Remove the two screws (23) and index (22).
   (6) Remove the two screws (14) and index (16).
   (7) Remove the screw (28) and the hollow pin (24).
   (8) Drive out the pin (26).
   (9) Remove the link (25) and trigger (27).
   (10) Remove the two screws (15) and the two hollow pins (13).
   (11) Remove the lever (29):
     (a) Pull the lever to disconnect the connector located inside, at the lever-to-bellcrank junction.
   (12) Remove the lever (12):
     (a) Do the same procedure as for the lever (29).
   (13) Remove the five screws (85).
   (14) Lift the lighted label (86) and disconnect the connector 21LFA (19).
   (15) Remove the AIPC 33-13-08-03-110 LIGHTED LABEL (86).
   (16) Remove the three screws (17) and the three screws (20).
   (17) Remove the housing (18).
   (18) Remove and discard the eight cotter pins (43).
   (19) Remove the eight nuts (44), the eight washers (45) and the eight screws (46).
   (20) Remove two forward covers (63) and the two aft covers (42).
   (21) Remove and discard the cotter pin (72).
   (22) Remove the washer (73), nut (74), bearing (60), bushing (61), screw (64), bushing (66), bearing (65) and link (25).
   (23) Drive out the pin (59) and remove the rocker (57).
   (24) Remove the screw (76), washers (78) and (79) and the two clamps (77).
   (25) Remove the screws (80), washers (81) and (83) and clamps (82).
   (26) Disconnect connectors 2145VC and 2146VC.
   (27) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
   (28) Removal of the lockwire
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (a) Cut and remove the lockwire.
   (29) Remove the nut (37) and washer (38).
   (30) Pull smoothly the shaft (54) to remove:
     (a) the bushing (39)
     (b) the bellcrank (41)
     (c) the adjustment bushing (49)
     (d) the bellcrank (55)
     (e) the bushing (53)
   (31) Remove the shaft (54).
   (32) On the bellcrank (41), remove the ball bearing (40), spacer (47) and bearing (48).
   (33) On the bellcrank (55) remove the bearing (50), spacer (51) and bearing (52).
