B. Make sure that the throttle control levers are at idle (0 degree).
Subtask 76-11-17-941-054-A C. Safety Precautions
(1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to move:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position.
(c) Make sure that WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate:
Subtask 76-11-17-010-059-A Subtask 76-11-17-010-060-A (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to move:
- The throttle control levers
- The slat and flap control levers.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position.
(c) Make sure that WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate:
- The ENG/MODE selector switch
- The ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
E. Get Access
(1) Remove the Multipurpose Control and Display Units 3CA1 and 3CA2 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
(2) Remove the Radio Management Panels 1RG1 and 1RG2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
(3) Remove the Audio Control Panels 2RN1 and 2RN2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
(4) Remove the Weather Radar Control Unit 3SQ (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the ATC Control Unit 3SH (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001).
(6) Remove the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
(b) Disconnect the connector (3) from the panel (1).
(c) Remove the panel (1).
(d) Put CAP - BLANKING on the connectors (2) and (3).
(7) Removal of plates, ventilation plates and clamps:
(a) Remove the screws (7).
(b) Remove the ventilation plates (8).
(c) Disconnect the clamps (9).
(d) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(e) Remove the plates (4) and (10).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the Multipurpose Control and Display Units 3CA1 and 3CA2 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
(2) Remove the Radio Management Panels 1RG1 and 1RG2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
(3) Remove the Audio Control Panels 2RN1 and 2RN2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
(4) Remove the Weather Radar Control Unit 3SQ (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the ATC Control Unit 3SH (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001).
(6) Remove the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
(a) Release the fasteners of the panel (1) and disengage the panel (1) from its housing. (b) Disconnect the connector (3) from the panel (1).
(c) Remove the panel (1).
(d) Put CAP - BLANKING on the connectors (2) and (3).
(7) Removal of plates, ventilation plates and clamps:
(a) Remove the screws (7).
(b) Remove the ventilation plates (8).
(c) Disconnect the clamps (9).
(d) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(e) Remove the plates (4) and (10).

A. Installation of Rigging Pin
(1) Install the 98DNSA20206080 RIGGING PIN (11) in the Throttle Control Unit (TCU).
(2) Install the 98DNSA20208080 RIGGING PIN (12) in the artificial feel unit.
Subtask 76-11-17-020-053-A (1) Install the 98DNSA20206080 RIGGING PIN (11) in the Throttle Control Unit (TCU).
(2) Install the 98DNSA20208080 RIGGING PIN (12) in the artificial feel unit.
B. Remove the Throttle Control Artificial Feel Unit as follows:
(2) Remove the four nuts (14), the four washers (15) and the four bolts (17). Make sure that the four bushes (16) stay bonded.
(3) Remove the rods (27).
(4) Remove and discard the four cotter pins (18).
(5) Remove the two nuts (19), the two washers (20) and the two bolts (26). Make sure that the two bushes (25) stay bonded.
(6) Remove the two nuts (21), the two washers (22) and the two bolts (24).
(7) Remove the throttle control artificial feel unit (23).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(1) Remove and discard the four cotter pins (13). (2) Remove the four nuts (14), the four washers (15) and the four bolts (17). Make sure that the four bushes (16) stay bonded.
(3) Remove the rods (27).
(4) Remove and discard the four cotter pins (18).
(5) Remove the two nuts (19), the two washers (20) and the two bolts (26). Make sure that the two bushes (25) stay bonded.
(6) Remove the two nuts (21), the two washers (22) and the two bolts (24).
(7) Remove the throttle control artificial feel unit (23).
