  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

   (1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
   (2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
   (3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
   (4) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable wing trailing edge at the flap.
   (2) Remove the applicable flap track fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001):

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable wing trailing edge at the flap.
   (2) Remove the applicable flap track fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004):

  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the flap actuator brackets at tracks 2, 3 and 4.

B. Special Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing Trailing Edge Flap Actuator Brackets at Flap Tracks 2, 3 and 4
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the flap actuator brackets at tracks 2, 3 and 4 NTM 575101.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575100 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable flap track fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001):
   (3) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
   (4) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable flap track fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004):
   (3) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
   (4) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
