  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the flap actuator brackets at tracks 2, 3 and 4.

B. Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing Trailing Edge Flap Actuator Brackets at Flap Tracks 2, 3 and 4
   (1) Examine the flap actuator brackets at tracks 2, 3 and 4 for:
  • corrosion
  • damage
  • scratches and scores
  • correct condition of protective finish.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575100 for the correct repair procedure.

   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
