Special Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing, Trailing Edge Bottom Skin Aft of Rear Spar, Above the MLG Reinforcing
WARNING:

WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

SPECIAL DETAILED INSPECTION (X-RAY AND HFEC) OF OUTER WING, TRAILING EDGE BOTTOM SKIN AFT OF REAR SPAR, ABOVE MLG REINFORCING

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
Subtask 57-51-00-865-084-A (1) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-000-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the wing trailing edge at the MLG support rib 5, zone 574(674).
(4) Open access door 574AB( 674AB).
(5) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to do this inspection.
Subtask 57-51-00-010-069-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-000-001).
NOTE: You can do this inspection without the removal of the MLG fixed leg fairing.
(2) Remove the applicable secondary hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-000-001).(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the wing trailing edge at the MLG support rib 5, zone 574(674).
(4) Open access door 574AB( 674AB).
(5) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to do this inspection.
C. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-000-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the wing trailing edge at the MLG support rib 5, zone 574(674).
(4) Remove access door 574AB( 674AB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-008).
(5) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to do this inspection.
4. Procedure(1) Remove the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-000-001).
NOTE: You can do this inspection without the removal of the MLG fixed leg fairing.
(2) Remove the applicable secondary hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-000-001).(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the wing trailing edge at the MLG support rib 5, zone 574(674).
(4) Remove access door 574AB( 674AB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-008).
(5) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to do this inspection.
Subtask 57-51-00-110-084-A
A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the trailing edge bottom wing skin aft of the rear spar, above the MLG reinforcing.
Subtask 57-51-00-260-050-A (1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the trailing edge bottom wing skin aft of the rear spar, above the MLG reinforcing.
B. Special Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing, Trailing Edge Bottom Skin Aft of Rear Spar, Above the MLG Reinforcing
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the outer wing trailing edge, aft of the rear spar, above the MLG reinforcing NTM 575160.
5. Close-up(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the outer wing trailing edge, aft of the rear spar, above the MLG reinforcing NTM 575160.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575100 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.
Subtask 57-51-00-410-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 574AB ( 674AB).
(3) Install the applicable secondary hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-400-001).
(4) Install the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-400-002).
Subtask 57-51-00-410-070-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 574AB ( 674AB).
(3) Install the applicable secondary hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-400-001).
(4) Install the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-400-002).
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install access door 574AB ( 674AB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-008).
(3) Install the applicable secondary hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-400-001).
(4) Install the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-400-002).
Subtask 57-51-00-865-104-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install access door 574AB ( 674AB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-008).
(3) Install the applicable secondary hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-400-001).
(4) Install the applicable secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-400-002).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the safety barriers.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the safety barriers.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
