(b) TORQUE the screws (23) and (24) to between 45 and 40 lbf.in (0.51 and 0.45 m.daN )
. D. Sealant
(1) If the sealant between the trailing edge of the panel and the forward edge of the wing skin was removed, do the steps that follow:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the surface between the trailing edge of the panel and the forward edge of the wing skin.
(b) Let the sealant cure then carefully remove the applicable panel (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-006).
(c) Apply talcum powder on the sealed area and install the panel (refer to Para. 4B.).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

F. Dimensional Checks
(1) Measure the into/out of wind step tolerances of the access panels across the line of flight. These must be as follows:
(a) For the panel leading edge:
(3) Measure the clearance at the inboard and outboard edges of the access panels. The clearance must be between 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.) and 4.5 mm (0.1772 in.).
(4) Measure the clearance at the trailing edges of the access panels between:
