   (1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
   (2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the flap/slat control lever.

   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 2, 3 and 4, zones 531(631), 532(632) and 533(633).
   (2) Remove the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001):
     (a) For flap track 2, remove:
     (b) For flap track 3, remove:
     (c) For flap track 4, remove:

D. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 2, 3 and 4, zones 531(631), 532(632) and 533(633).
   (2) Remove the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004):
     (a) for flap track 2, remove:
     (b) for flap track 3, remove:
     (c) for flap track 4, remove:
4. Procedure
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the applicable flap track beam.
Subtask 57-26-00-280-052-A
B. Special Detailed Inspection (HFEC) of Outer-Wing Flap-Track-Beams 2, 3, 4 Track-Upper-Flange-Radii
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the upper flange radii of the flap track beams 2, 3 and 4 NTM 572601.
   (2) To complete the inspection:
     (a) Remove 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
     (b) Retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009) as required, to get access to the flap track beam under the flap track carriage.
     (c) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 57260000 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.
5. Close-up
Subtask 57-26-00-410-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS.
   (3) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
   (4) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever.
   (5) Install the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001)
     (a) for flap track 2, install:
     (b) for the flap track 3, Install
     (c) for the flap track 4, Install

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS.

   (4) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever.
   (5) Install the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004)
     (a) for the flap track 2, install:
