(1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the flap/slat control lever.

(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 2, 3 and 4, zones 531(631), 532(632) and 533(633).
(2) Remove the applicable flap track access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001):
(a) For flap track 2:

for the left wing, remove 531AB 531BB 531CB
for the right wing, remove 631AB 631BB 631CB.

(b) For flap track 3:

for the left wing, remove 532AB 532BB 532CB
for the right wing, remove 632AB 632BB 632CB.

for the left wing, remove 533AB 533BB 533CB
for the right wing, remove 633AB 633BB 633CB.

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 2, 3 and 4, zones 531(631), 532(632) and 533(633).
(2) Remove the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004):
(a) For flap track 2:

for the left wing, remove 531CB 531EB
for the right wing, remove 631CB 631EB.

(b) For flap track 3:

for the left wing, remove 532CB 532EB
for the right wing, remove 632CB 632EB.

for the left wing, remove 533CB 533EB
for the right wing, remove 633CB 633EB.

4. Procedure

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

Subtask 57-26-00-110-055-A

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the applicable flap track beam.

B. Detailed Inspection of Outer-Wing Flap-Track-Beams 2, 3, 4 Track-Upper-Flange-Radii
(1) Examine the flange radii of the applicable flap track beam. Make sure that:

there is no corrosion
there are no cracks or grooves
the surface protection is in the correct condition
there is no wear
there is no damage
there are no loose rivets or fasteners.

NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 572600 for the correct repair procedure.

(2) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009) to get access to the flap track beam under the flap carriage.
(4) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(5) Examine the flange radii of the applicable flap track beam under the flap carriage. Make sure that:

there is no corrosion
there are no cracks or grooves
the surface protection is in the correct condition
there is no wear
there is no damage
there are no loose rivets or fasteners.

NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 572600 for the correct repair procedure.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the locking tool 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS.
(3) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(4) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever.
(5) Install the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001):
(a) For the flap track 2:

for the left wing, install 531AB 531BB 531CB
for the right wing, install 631AB 631BB 631CB.

(b) For the flap track 3:

for the left wing, install 532AB 532BB 532CB
for the right wing, install 632AB 632BB 632CB.

for the left wing, install 533AB 533BB 533CB
for the right wing, install 633AB 633BB 633CB.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS.
(3) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(4) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever.
(5) Install the applicable flap track fairing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004):
(a) For the flap track 2:

for the left wing, install 531CB 531EB
for the right wing, install 631CB 631EB.

(b) For the flap track 3:

for the left wing, install 532CB 532EB
for the right wing, install 632CB 632EB.

for the left wing, install 533CB 533EB
for the right wing, install 633CB 633EB.
