A. Deactivation of the Window
   (1) Inspection of the fixed windows
     (a) Do an inspection of the acrylic fixed windows for:
Scratches, cracks, chips, bubbles, delamination, discoloration, crazing, burn spots and transparency (Ref. AMM TASK 56-11-12-200-001).
     (b) Do an inspection of the glass fixed windows for:
Scratches, cracks, chips, bubbles, interlayer microflakes, delamination, discoloration, crazing, burn spots and transparency (Ref. AMM TASK 56-11-12-200-001).
   (2) Inspection of the sliding windows
     (a) Do an inspection of the acrylic sliding windows for:
Scratches, cracks, chips, bubbles, delamination, discoloration, crazing, burn spots and transparency (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-200-001).
     (b) Do an inspection of the glass sliding windows for:
Scratches, cracks, chips, bubbles, interlayer microflakes, delamination, discoloration, crazing, burn spots and transparency (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-200-001).

B. Deactivation of the Fixed or Sliding Window De-Icing
   (1) If the fixed or sliding window outer ply has cracks or if the fixed or sliding window has burn spots that are less than the permitted limit:
     (a) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • for the left side: 4DG1
  • for the right side: 4DG2.
   (2) Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook.

C. Close Access
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).

D. De-energize the ground service network
