2 If the bearings (1) and (3) are damaged, install new ones.
(f) Remove the AJD110303 PROOF LOAD TEST.
(13) Give protection to the crimped areas of the sleeves (2) and (4).
(a) Put a cover on the bearings (1) and (3) to make sure that the cleaning agent and the protection paint do not go into the bearings.
(b) Remove the grease from the sleeves (2) and (4) and the joints with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Trichloroethane Legacy (Material No.08BBU9) .
(c) Let them dry.
(d) Apply a layer of Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) on the crimped areas.
(e) Dry the crimped areas with a warm air dryer at approximately 50 deg.C (122.00 deg.F).
(f) Apply Primer Epoxy Paint-- Corrosion Inhibiting Structure (Material No.04DAB2) on the sleeves (2) and (4) and the joints.
(g) Dry the sleeves (2) and (4) with the warm air dryer at approximately 50 deg.C (122.00 deg.F).
(h) Remove the cover from the bearings (1) and (3).
5. Close-up(1) Use the 98D55109001000 SET, BUSHING REPLACEMENT to remove the bearings (1) and (3) and the sleeves (2) and (4).
