Subtask 54-57-17-941-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 54-57-17-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).

(2) Make sure that the thrust reversers are unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
Subtask 54-57-17-860-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(2) Make sure that the thrust reversers are unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(2) Make sure that the thrust reversers are unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(2) Make sure that the thrust reversers are unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).
Subtask 54-57-17-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Fittings
(1) Install the fitting (6):
(a) Put the fitting (6) in position.
(b) Install the nuts (10).
(c) Install the bolts (22), the washers (20) and the nuts (21) to attach the fitting (6) to the bracket (23).
(d) Put the cowl stop assembly (5) in position.
(e) Install the stirrup (2), the bolt (4), the washer (3) and the nut (1).
(f) Install the bolt (9) and the nut (7).
(g) Connect the tube end (8) to the fitting (6).
(h) Tighten the nuts (1), (7) and (10).
(2) Install the fitting (12):
(a) Put the fitting (12) in position.
(b) Install the nuts (11).
(c) Install the bolts (24), the washers (25) and the nuts (26) to attach the fitting (12) to the bracket (23).
(d) Put the cowl stop assembly (5) in position.
(e) Install the stirrup (17), the bolt (19), the washer (18) and the nut (16).
(f) Install the bolt (13) and the nut (15).
(g) Connect the tube end (14) to the fitting (12).
(h) Tighten the nuts (11), (15) and (16).
Subtask 54-57-17-420-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the fitting (6):
(a) Put the fitting (6) in position.
(b) Install the nuts (10).
(c) Install the bolts (22), the washers (20) and the nuts (21) to attach the fitting (6) to the bracket (23).
(d) Put the cowl stop assembly (5) in position.
(e) Install the stirrup (2), the bolt (4), the washer (3) and the nut (1).
(f) Install the bolt (9) and the nut (7).
(g) Connect the tube end (8) to the fitting (6).
(h) Tighten the nuts (1), (7) and (10).
(2) Install the fitting (12):
(a) Put the fitting (12) in position.
(b) Install the nuts (11).
(c) Install the bolts (24), the washers (25) and the nuts (26) to attach the fitting (12) to the bracket (23).
(d) Put the cowl stop assembly (5) in position.
(e) Install the stirrup (17), the bolt (19), the washer (18) and the nut (16).
(f) Install the bolt (13) and the nut (15).
(g) Connect the tube end (14) to the fitting (12).
(h) Tighten the nuts (11), (15) and (16).
A. Installation of the Fittings and the Brackets
(1) Install the fitting (10) as follows:
(a) Put the fitting (10) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (1) and (12), the washers (2) and the nuts (11).
(c) Install the bracket (7), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (6).
(d) Connect the tube end (4) to the fitting (10).
(e) Install the bolt (3) and the nut (5).
(f) Tighten the nuts (5), (6) and (11).
(2) Install the fitting (17) as follows:
(a) Put the fitting (17) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (1) and (12), the washers (2) and the nuts (11).
(c) Install the bracket (16), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (6).
(d) Connect the tube end (14) to the fitting (17).
(e) Install the bolt (13) and the nut (15).
(f) Tighten the nuts (6), (11) and (15).
(3) Install the brackets (18) and (19) that follow:
(a) Put the brackets (18) and (19) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (21) and (22) and the washers (20) and (23) in the brackets (18) and (19).
(c) Tighten the bolts (21) and (22).
(4) Install the brackets (28) and (31) that follow:
(a) Put the brackets (28) and (31) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (29) and (30), the washers (23) and the nuts (24) in the brackets (28) and (31) and the brackets support (26).
(c) Tighten the bolts (29) and (30).
(d) Install the bolts (27), the washers (23) and the nuts (25) in the brackets support (26).
(e) Tighten the nuts (25).
(5) Install the bracket support (35) as follows:
(a) Install the clamp (36):
1 Put the clamp (36) in position on the bracket (19).
2 Install the bolt (38) and the washer (37) in the clamp (36).
3 Tighten the bolt (38).
(b) Put the bracket support (35) in position on the bracket (19).
(c) Install the bolts (34), the washers (33) and the nuts (32) in the bracket support (35).
(d) Tighten the nuts (32).
5. Close-up(1) Install the fitting (10) as follows:
(a) Put the fitting (10) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (1) and (12), the washers (2) and the nuts (11).
(c) Install the bracket (7), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (6).
(d) Connect the tube end (4) to the fitting (10).
(e) Install the bolt (3) and the nut (5).
(f) Tighten the nuts (5), (6) and (11).
(2) Install the fitting (17) as follows:
(a) Put the fitting (17) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (1) and (12), the washers (2) and the nuts (11).
(c) Install the bracket (16), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (6).
(d) Connect the tube end (14) to the fitting (17).
(e) Install the bolt (13) and the nut (15).
(f) Tighten the nuts (6), (11) and (15).
(3) Install the brackets (18) and (19) that follow:
(a) Put the brackets (18) and (19) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (21) and (22) and the washers (20) and (23) in the brackets (18) and (19).
(c) Tighten the bolts (21) and (22).
(4) Install the brackets (28) and (31) that follow:
(a) Put the brackets (28) and (31) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (29) and (30), the washers (23) and the nuts (24) in the brackets (28) and (31) and the brackets support (26).
(c) Tighten the bolts (29) and (30).
(d) Install the bolts (27), the washers (23) and the nuts (25) in the brackets support (26).
(e) Tighten the nuts (25).
(5) Install the bracket support (35) as follows:
(a) Install the clamp (36):
1 Put the clamp (36) in position on the bracket (19).
2 Install the bolt (38) and the washer (37) in the clamp (36).
3 Tighten the bolt (38).
(b) Put the bracket support (35) in position on the bracket (19).
(c) Install the bolts (34), the washers (33) and the nuts (32) in the bracket support (35).
(d) Tighten the nuts (32).

(1) Make the thrust reverser serviceable after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-081-041).

B. Close Access
(1) Close the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 54-57-17-440-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Close the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

D. Close Access
(1) Close the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-410-010):

(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
