A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 54-57-17-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) For the left pylon, at zone 410
(b) For the right pylon, at zone 420.

D. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

(2) Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-010-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) For the left pylon, at zone 410
(b) For the right pylon, at zone 420.

Subtask 54-57-17-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Fittings
(1) Remove the fitting (6):
(a) Remove the nut (7) and the bolt (9).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (8) from the fitting (6).
(c) Remove the nut (1), the bolt (4), the washer (3) and the stirrup (2).
(d) Disconnect the cowl stop assembly (5).
(e) Remove the nuts (21), the washers (20) and the bolts (22) that attach the fitting (6) to the bracket (23).
(2) Remove the fitting (12):
(a) Remove the nut (15) and the bolt (13).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (14) from the fitting (12).
(c) Remove the nut (16), the bolt (19), the washer (18) and the stirrup (17).
(d) Disconnect the cowl stop assembly (5).
(e) Remove the nuts (26), the washers (25) and the bolts (24) that attach the fitting (12) to the bracket (23).
Subtask 54-57-17-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the fitting (6):
(a) Remove the nut (7) and the bolt (9).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (8) from the fitting (6).
(c) Remove the nut (1), the bolt (4), the washer (3) and the stirrup (2).
(d) Disconnect the cowl stop assembly (5).
(e) Remove the nuts (21), the washers (20) and the bolts (22) that attach the fitting (6) to the bracket (23).
CAUTION:
DO NOT REMOVE THE BOLTS WHICH ATTACH THE FITTING TO THE FWD PYLON-TO-ENGINE ATTACH FITTING. REMOVE THE NUTS ONLY.
(f) Remove the nuts (10) and the fitting (6). - IF YOU REMOVE THE BOLTS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BORES.
(2) Remove the fitting (12):
(a) Remove the nut (15) and the bolt (13).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (14) from the fitting (12).
(c) Remove the nut (16), the bolt (19), the washer (18) and the stirrup (17).
(d) Disconnect the cowl stop assembly (5).
(e) Remove the nuts (26), the washers (25) and the bolts (24) that attach the fitting (12) to the bracket (23).
CAUTION:
DO NOT REMOVE THE BOLTS WHICH ATTACH THE FITTING TO THE FWD PYLON-TO-ENGINE ATTACH FITTING. REMOVE THE NUTS ONLY.
(f) Remove the nuts (11) and the fitting (12). - IF YOU REMOVE THE BOLTS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BORES.
A. Removal of the Fittings and the Brackets
(1) Remove the fitting (10) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (5) and the bolt (3).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (4) from the fitting (10).
(c) Remove the nut (6), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the bracket (7).
(e) Remove the fitting (10).
(2) Remove the fitting (17) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (15) and the bolt (13).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (14) from the fitting (17).
(c) Remove the nut (6), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the bracket (16).
(e) Remove the fitting (17).
(3) Remove the brackets (18) and (19) that follow:
(a) Remove the bolts (21) and (22) and the washers (20) and (23) from the brackets (18) and (19).
(b) Remove the brackets (18) and (19).
(4) Remove the brackets (28) and (31) that follow:
(a) Remove the bolts (27), the washers (23) and the nuts (25) from the brackets support (26).
(b) Remove the bolts (29) and (30), the washers (23) and the nuts (24) from the brackets (28) and (31) and the brackets support (26).
(c) Remove the brackets (28) and (31).
(5) Remove the bracket support (35) as follows:
(a) Remove the bolts (34), the washers (33) and the nuts (32) from the bracket support (35).
(b) Remove the bracket support (35) from the bracket (19).
(c) Remove the clamp (36):
1 Remove the bolt (38) and the washer (37) from the clamp (36).
2 Remove the clamp (36) from the bracket (19).
(1) Remove the fitting (10) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (5) and the bolt (3).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (4) from the fitting (10).
(c) Remove the nut (6), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the bracket (7).
CAUTION:
DO NOT REMOVE THE BOLTS WHICH ATTACH THE FITTING TO THE FWD PYLON-TO-ENGINE ATTACH FITTING. REMOVE THE NUTS ONLY.
(d) Remove the nuts (11), the bolts (1) and (12) and the washers (2). - IF YOU REMOVE THE BOLTS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BORES.
(e) Remove the fitting (10).
(2) Remove the fitting (17) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (15) and the bolt (13).
(b) Disconnect the tube end (14) from the fitting (17).
(c) Remove the nut (6), the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the bracket (16).
CAUTION:
DO NOT REMOVE THE BOLTS WHICH ATTACH THE FITTING TO THE FWD PYLON-TO-ENGINE ATTACH FITTING. REMOVE THE NUTS ONLY.
(d) Remove the nuts (11), the bolts (1) and (12) and the washers (2). - IF YOU REMOVE THE BOLTS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BORES.
(e) Remove the fitting (17).
(3) Remove the brackets (18) and (19) that follow:
(a) Remove the bolts (21) and (22) and the washers (20) and (23) from the brackets (18) and (19).
(b) Remove the brackets (18) and (19).
(4) Remove the brackets (28) and (31) that follow:
(a) Remove the bolts (27), the washers (23) and the nuts (25) from the brackets support (26).
(b) Remove the bolts (29) and (30), the washers (23) and the nuts (24) from the brackets (28) and (31) and the brackets support (26).
(c) Remove the brackets (28) and (31).
(5) Remove the bracket support (35) as follows:
(a) Remove the bolts (34), the washers (33) and the nuts (32) from the bracket support (35).
(b) Remove the bracket support (35) from the bracket (19).
(c) Remove the clamp (36):
1 Remove the bolt (38) and the washer (37) from the clamp (36).
2 Remove the clamp (36) from the bracket (19).
