B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
Subtask 54-52-12-010-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 410
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 420.
(3) Make sure that the access skin panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-805):
(a) For the left pylon: 411AL
(b) For the right pylon: 421AL.
Subtask 54-52-12-110-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:

(3) Make sure that the access skin panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-805):
(a) For the left pylon: 411AL
(b) For the right pylon: 421AL.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If they are not sufficiently clean, clean the parts retained from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If they are not sufficiently clean, clean the parts retained from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 54-52-12-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Visor Assembly
(1) Put and hold the visor assembly (1) in position.
(2) Install the bolts (2) and (3).
(3) Install the washers (4) and (5) and the nuts (7) and (6).
(4) Tighten the nuts (7) and (6).
(5) Put the bonding straps (10) in position.
(6) Install the washers (9) and the screws (8).
(7) Tighten the screws (8).
5. Close-up(1) Put and hold the visor assembly (1) in position.
(2) Install the bolts (2) and (3).
(3) Install the washers (4) and (5) and the nuts (7) and (6).
(4) Tighten the nuts (7) and (6).
(5) Put the bonding straps (10) in position.
(6) Install the washers (9) and the screws (8).
(7) Tighten the screws (8).

A. Installation of the Components
(1) Install the access skin panel (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-805):
(a) For the left pylon: 411AL
(b) For the right pylon: 421AL.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
