A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position:
     (a) For the left pylon in zone 410
     (b) For the right pylon in zone 420.
   (2) Remove the access panels:
     (a) For the left pylon: 414FR 471AL 472AR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002)
     (b) For the right pylon: 423FL 481AL 482AR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002)
     (c) For the left wing: 521BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-009)
     (d) For the right wing: 621BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-009).

B. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position:
     (a) For the left pylon in zone 410
     (b) For the right pylon in zone 420.
   (2) Remove the access panels:
     (a) For the left pylon: 471AL 471AR 471BL 471BR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002)
     (b) For the right pylon: 481AL 481AR 481BL 481BR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002)
     (c) For the left wing: 521BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-009)
     (d) For the right wing: 621BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-009).

C. Cleaning of the Structure
   (1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.

   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure of the pylon-to-wing forward attachment-shackles at RIB4.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and related corrective action.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the access panels:
     (a) For the left wing: 521BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-009)
     (b) For the right wing: 621BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-009)
     (c) For the left pylon: 414FR 471AL 472AR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002)
     (d) For the right pylon: 423FL 481AL 482AR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002).
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the access panels:
     (a) For the left wing: 521BT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-009)

     (c) For the left pylon: 471AL 471BL 471AR 471BR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002)
     (d) For the right pylon: 481AL 481AR 481BL 481BR (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002).
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
