(3) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the bolts (1).
B. Installation of the Diagonal Support Struts at FR77
(1) Put the support strut (5) in position and install the bolts (1).
(2) Install the washers (2) and the nuts (3). Do not tighten the nuts (3) at this time.
(3) Make sure that the clearance 'X' is 14.5 +2.5 mm or -2.5 mm (0.5709 +0.0984 in. or -0.0984 in.) between the THS attach support and the inner attach fitting.
(4) Do a check of the clearance 'Y' at the left and the right attach fittings:
(a) The value of the clearance 'Y' must be equal at the left and the right fittings. A tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm (0.0079 in.) is permitted.
(5) Make sure that the dimension 'Z' between the bolt and the sleeve is a minimum of 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
(6) If the clearances 'X', 'Y' and 'Z' are correct, do the steps that follow:
(a) TORQUE the tubes of the support struts (5) in the correct direction as follows:
.
(c) Safety the locknuts (11) with the lockwire14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(d) TORQUE the nuts (3) to between 1.35 and 1.20 m.daN (119.47 and 106.19 lbf.in )
.
