A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.

(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the applicable passenger/crew door.
(2) Make sure that the door lining panels, the door frame lining panels and the insulation are removed.
(3) Obey the special precautions before you start the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-13-31-420-050-A

A. Installation of the Lining Flap

Lining Flap

(1) Engage the lining flap (9) in the bellcrank assembly (1):
(a) Put the lining flap (9) in position.
(b) Install the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(c) Install the spacers (8), the washers (7) and the nuts (6).
(d) Tighten the nuts (6).
(e) Install the new AIPC 52-13-11-18-220 COTTER PIN (5) or the new AIPC 52-13-84-15-220 COTTER PIN (5).
(2) Engage the lining flap (9) in the rods (4) as follows:
(a) Put the rods (4) in position.
(b) Install the washers (11), the spacers (13) and the pins (12).
(c) Install the new AIPC 52-13-11-18-120 COTTER PIN (10) or the new AIPC 52-13-84-15-120 COTTER PIN (10).

A. Installation of the Components
(1) Remove the 98D52103501000 BALLAST WEIGHT - PASSENGER CREW DOOR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-080-001).
(2) Install the door insulation.
(3) Install the door lining panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-400-002).
(4) Install the escape slide:
(a) For the left door:
Install the left escape-slide pack-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-006).
(b) For the right door:
Install the right escape-slide pack-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-802).

Subtask 52-13-31-410-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of Components
(1) Remove the 98D52103501000 BALLAST WEIGHT - PASSENGER CREW DOOR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-080-001).
(2) Install the door insulation.
(3) Install the door lining panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-46-400-002).
(4) Install the escape slide:
(a) For the left door:
Install the left-hand escape slide raft pack assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-007).
(b) For the right door:
Install the right-hand escape slide raft pack assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-44-400-803).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Close Access
(1) Obey the special precautions after the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close passenger/crew door 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
