A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put the warning notice in position on panel 25VU to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put the warning notice in position on panel 25VU to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001)
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001)
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Oil Heater
(1) Drain the oil from the APU gearbox (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-008).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the heater (3).
(3) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2).
(5) Pull the heater (3) out of the gearbox.
(6) Remove and discard the O-ring (5).
(7) Put a PLUG - BLANKING in the gearbox port.
(1) Drain the oil from the APU gearbox (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-008).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the heater (3).
(3) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2).
(5) Pull the heater (3) out of the gearbox.
(6) Remove and discard the O-ring (5).
(7) Put a PLUG - BLANKING in the gearbox port.
