A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU compartment.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 136AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU compartment.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 136AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-91-42-020-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Drain Plug
(1) Put the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) to the position below the drain plug (3).
(2) Push the metal chip detector (1) and turn it to remove from the gearbox.
(3) Remove and discard the two packings (2) from the metal chip detector (1).
(4) Push the drain plug (3) and turn it to remove from the gearbox.
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (4) from the drain plug (3).
(6) Drain the APU oil (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-008) into the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL).
(1) Put the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) to the position below the drain plug (3).
(2) Push the metal chip detector (1) and turn it to remove from the gearbox.
(3) Remove and discard the two packings (2) from the metal chip detector (1).
(4) Push the drain plug (3) and turn it to remove from the gearbox.
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (4) from the drain plug (3).
(6) Drain the APU oil (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-008) into the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL).
