Subtask 49-70-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
Subtask 49-70-00-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
B. Get Access
(1) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access door 315AL and 316AR.
(3) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access door 315AL and 316AR.
(3) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-70-00-210-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Maintenance Action
(1) Do a check of the APU oil level on the oil sight glass.
5. Close-up(1) Do a check of the APU oil level on the oil sight glass.
- Replenish, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-004).
- If the oil consumption is more than 0.9 l (0.95 USquarts) per 10 APU operating-hours you have to monitor continuously the oil-consumption.
NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 49-70-00-860-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the safety harness.
(6) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(7) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(8) Put a temporary placard in the cockpit to tell persons that the APU LOW OIL LEVEL Indication on the APU SD page is inoperative.
(9) Make an applicable entry in the logbook.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the safety harness.
(6) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(7) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(8) Put a temporary placard in the cockpit to tell persons that the APU LOW OIL LEVEL Indication on the APU SD page is inoperative.
(9) Make an applicable entry in the logbook.
