A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the access doors 315AL and 316AR.
   (4) Make sure that the access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
   (5) Make sure that the APU air intake flap is in open position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 49-16-44-910-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Remove the old sealant. Use the solvent Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) or Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to all screws and washers.
   (4) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the mating surfaces of the air intake nose (13), the bracket (4) and the end profile (5).

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Remove the old sealant. Use the solvent Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to all screws and washers.
   (4) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the mating surfaces of the air intake nose (13), the bracket (4) and the end profile (5).

B. Installation of the Air Intake Nose
F Air Intake Nose ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put the air intake nose (13) in position and hold it.
   (2) Install the screws (1). Do not fully tighten the screws at this time.
   (3) Install the screws (3) and the washers (2). Do not fully tighten the screws at this time.
   (4) Install the bracket (4) and the end-profile (5) with the screws (7 and 8) and the washers (6 and 9).
   (5) Install the bolts (10), the washers (11) and the nuts (12).
   (6) Tighten all screws and bolts.

C. Application of the Surface Treatments
   (1) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to all locations, where removed, when dry apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) .
   (2) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to all the nuts, washers and screwheads.
   (3) Apply the Corrosion Preventive Compound-- Soft Film System (Material No.12AGC2) to all the screwheads.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
   (3) Close the APU access doors 316AR 315AL (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
