A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Make sure that the APU intake blanking plug is removed.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Make sure that the APU intake blanking plug is removed.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
NOTE: Open the circuit breakers 1KD and 2KD if adjustments are necessary.

| 3.Examine the contour of the air intake flap and the air intake structure. |
NOTE: If the air intake flap is not in line with the structure, remove the rubber cover on the lower part of the flap actuator rod for access. Disconnect the cotter pin, nut and the bolt that attaches the lower part of the actuator rod to the air intake flap. Adjust the actuator rod length to get the correct position.Then connect the actuator rod to the air intake flap. |

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the ECAM control panel 11VU put the two brightness control knobs to the OFF position.
(2) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001)
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) On the ECAM control panel 11VU put the two brightness control knobs to the OFF position.
(2) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001)
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
