Subtask 49-11-00-860-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the cover assembly (3) to collect the oil which will flow when you remove the drain plug (5).

(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU compartment.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR.
(3) Set the LIGHT switch to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU compartment.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR.
(3) Set the LIGHT switch to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Generator Substitution Kit (131-9(A))
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the cover assembly (3) to collect the oil which will flow when you remove the drain plug (5).
(2) Removal of the lockwire:
(3) Remove the drain plug (5) from the cover assembly (3).
(4) Remove the electrical connector (7) from the generator cable support (6).
(5) Remove the nut (17), washer (16), screw (12), washer (13), clamp (14) and spacer (15) from the generator cable support (6).
(6) Remove the nuts (8) and the electrical cables (9) from the generator cable support (6).
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Remove the nuts (4) from the cover assembly (3) and from the generator cable support (6).
(9) Remove the cover assembly (3) and the generator cable support (6) (Ref. AIPC 49-11-04-05-010) from the mounting flange (1).
(10) Remove and discard the seal (2).
(11) Remove the bolts (11) and the seal plate (10) from the cover assembly (3).
(12) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(13) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(14) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 49-11-00-420-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL 5. Close-up(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the cover assembly (3) to collect the oil which will flow when you remove the drain plug (5).
(2) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the drain plug (5). (3) Remove the drain plug (5) from the cover assembly (3).
(4) Remove the electrical connector (7) from the generator cable support (6).
(5) Remove the nut (17), washer (16), screw (12), washer (13), clamp (14) and spacer (15) from the generator cable support (6).
(6) Remove the nuts (8) and the electrical cables (9) from the generator cable support (6).
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Remove the nuts (4) from the cover assembly (3) and from the generator cable support (6).
(9) Remove the cover assembly (3) and the generator cable support (6) (Ref. AIPC 49-11-04-05-010) from the mounting flange (1).
(10) Remove and discard the seal (2).
(11) Remove the bolts (11) and the seal plate (10) from the cover assembly (3).
(12) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(13) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(14) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 49-11-00-410-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Set the LIGHT SW to the Off position.
(2) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-11-00-860-072-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Set the LIGHT SW to the Off position.
(2) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical log book.
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical log book.
