A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the lavatory door is open.
   (3) Make sure that the toilet shroud is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 38-31-12-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Flush Control Unit
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Put the flush control unit (5) in position.
   (4) Install the washers (2), the bolts (1) and the nuts (3).
   (5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (6) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN WHEN YOU CONNECT THEM. THE CONTAMINATION OF ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
   (7) Connect the electrical connectors (4), (6), (7) and (8).

B. Do an operational test of the toilet unit to make sure that it flushes correctly (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-710-009).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-400-001).
   (3) Close the lavatory door.

B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
