Removal of the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occured not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
- make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend is on),
- make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend is off),
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off,
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

D. Get Access
(1) Open the access doors :
(a) FOR [11HA1] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG1)
415AL 415AR
(b) FOR [11HA2] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG2)
425AL 425AR
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the engine.
4. Procedure(1) Open the access doors :
(a) FOR [11HA1] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG1)
415AL 415AR
(b) FOR [11HA2] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG2)
425AL 425AR
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the engine.

A. Removal of the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
(4) Disconnect the sense line (7) from the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(5) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (1) that attach the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(6) Remove the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4) from the support (6).
(7) Remove the seal (5) and discard it.
(8) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
- For GTCP 36-300 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For APS 3200 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For 131-9(A) APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4). (4) Disconnect the sense line (7) from the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(5) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (1) that attach the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(6) Remove the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4) from the support (6).
(7) Remove the seal (5) and discard it.
(8) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
