A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Obey the special precautions when you do work on a gaseous oxygen system (Ref. AMM TASK 35-00-00-860-001).
   (2) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
   (1) For the location of the component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 35-32-00-00).
   (2) Carefully remove the oxygen mask from the stowage bag (Ref. AMM TASK 35-32-42-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 35-30-00-220-050-A
A. Detailed Inspection of the Portable Oxygen Mask
   (1) If necessary use a FLASHLIGHT.
   (2) For each portable oxygen mask make sure that:
  • The flexible hose shows no damage, has no permanent kinks and no cracks and/or discoloration.
  • The portable oxygen mask is clean, shows no damage and has no cracks, deformation and/or discoloration.
   (3) If one or more of the inspections are not satisfactory, replace the portable oxygen mask (Ref. AMM TASK 35-32-42-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 35-32-42-400-001).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Carefully install the oxygen mask in the stowage bag (Ref. AMM TASK 35-32-42-400-001).
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
