Removal of the Swivel Selector Valve
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR ARE CLEAR.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green Hydraulic System (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green Hydraulic System (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow Hydraulic System (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the nose landing-gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 123.

(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

- on the panel 40VU, in the cockpit,
- on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system, access door 197CB.
C. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- on the panel 40VU, in the cockpit,
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system, access door 196BB.

A. Removal of the Swivel Selector Valve
(3) Remove the nut (4).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic couplings (1) and (2) and put the PLUG - BLANKING in position.
(a) Make marks on the pipes to identify their position to prevent incorrect connection during the installation.
(5) Disconnect the hydraulic couplings (10) and (11) and put the PLUG - BLANKING in position.
(a) Make marks on the pipes to identify their position to prevent incorrect connection during the installation.
(6) Remove the bolt (7) and the shouldered bush (6).
(7) Remove and discard the cotter pin (12).
(8) Remove the nut (13) and the washer (14).
(9) Hold the swivel selector valve (9) and remove the bolt (17) and the washer (16).
(10) Remove the swivel selector valve (9).
Subtask 32-51-15-020-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(1) Use the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove the sealants from:- The heads of the bolts (7) and (17)
- The nuts (4) and (13).
(3) Remove the nut (4).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic couplings (1) and (2) and put the PLUG - BLANKING in position.
(a) Make marks on the pipes to identify their position to prevent incorrect connection during the installation.
(5) Disconnect the hydraulic couplings (10) and (11) and put the PLUG - BLANKING in position.
(a) Make marks on the pipes to identify their position to prevent incorrect connection during the installation.
(6) Remove the bolt (7) and the shouldered bush (6).
(7) Remove and discard the cotter pin (12).
(8) Remove the nut (13) and the washer (14).
(9) Hold the swivel selector valve (9) and remove the bolt (17) and the washer (16).
(10) Remove the swivel selector valve (9).

(5) Disconnect the hydraulic couplings (10) and (11) and put the PLUG - BLANKING in position.

(6) Remove the bolt (7) and the shouldered bush (6).
(7) Disconnect rod (5) from the swivel selector valve (9).
(8) Remove and discard the cotter pin (12).
(9) Remove the nut (13) and the washer (14).
(10) Hold the swivel selector valve (9) and remove the bolt (17) and the washer (16).
(11) Remove the swivel selector valve (9).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.

(6) Remove the bolt (7) and the shouldered bush (6).

(8) Remove and discard the cotter pin (12).
(9) Remove the nut (13) and the washer (14).
(10) Hold the swivel selector valve (9) and remove the bolt (17) and the washer (16).
(11) Remove the swivel selector valve (9).
