Subtask 32-11-00-941-080-A
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
   (2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
   (3) On the panel 400VU:
  • make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
  • put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear controls.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Open the main gear (MLG) doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Make sure the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is on the applicable MLG door actuator.
   (3) Do the flight configuration precautions procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).

C. Lifting of the Aircraft
   (1) Lift the aircraft on jacks (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-581-001).

D. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
   (2) Remove the wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-000-006).
   (3) Remove the brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
   (4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to stop operation of the landing gear and the brakes.

A. Detailed Inspection of MLG, Sliding Tube at Brake Attachment Flange, and other Interference Fit Bushes
   (1) Preparation for inspection:
     (a) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the area to be examined.
   (2) Examine the brake attachment flanges for:
  • damage to the protective finish
  • corrosion or cracks on the installed bushes.
   (3) Examine the sliding tube bushes for damage to the protective finish, corrosion and/or cracks at the following locations:
  • the lower torque link attachment lug
  • the lower slave link attachment lug
  • the towing/debogging lug
  • the jacking dome.
   (4) If you find damage or corrosion, refer to CMM 321225 for repair procedures.
Subtask 32-11-00-200-052-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Detailed Inspection of MLG, Sliding Tube at Brake Attachment Flange, and other Interference Fit Bushes
   (1) Preparation for inspection:
     (a) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the area to be examined.
   (2) Examine the brake attachment flanges for:
  • damage to the protective finish
  • corrosion or cracks on the installed bushes.
   (3) Examine the sliding tube bushes for damage to the protective finish, corrosion and/or cracks at the following locations:
  • the lower torque link attachment lug
  • the lower slave link attachment lug

  • the jacking dome.
   (4) If you find damage or corrosion, refer to CMM 321222 for repair procedures.

   (1) Preparation for inspection:

   (2) Examine the brake attachment flanges for:
  • Damage to the protective finish
  • Corrosion or cracks on the installed bushes.
   (3) Examine the sliding tube bushes for damage to the protective finish, corrosion and/or cracks at the:
  • Attachment lug of the lower torque link
  • Attachment lug of the lower slave link
  • Towing/debogging lug
  • Jacking dome.
   (4) If you find damage or corrosion, do the applicable repair procedure, CMM 321287.

   (1) Preparation for inspection:

   (2) Examine the brake attachment flanges for:
  • Damage to the protective finish
  • Corrosion or cracks on the installed bushes.
   (3) Examine the sliding tube bushes for damage to the protective finish, corrosion and/or cracks at the:
  • Attachment lug of the lower torque link
  • Attachment lug of the lower slave link
  • Towing/debogging lug
  • Jacking dome.
   (4) If you find damage or corrosion, do the applicable repair procedure, CMM 321292.

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the brakes (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-400-001).
   (2) Install the wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-11-400-006).

B. Lower the Aircraft
   (1) Remove the access platform(s).
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Lower the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-586-002).

C. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (2) Remove the safety barriers.
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
