4. Procedure
Subtask 29-31-00-860-054-A
A. Hydraulic Reservoir Filling-Procedure with a defective Reservoir Quantity- Indicator (referred to as the quantity indicator)
   (1) On the service panel of the Green hydraulic system:
  • Turn the reservoir-filling manual selector-valve (1134GQ) to the applicable position for each hydraulic system.
   (2) If the quantity indicator gives an incorrect indication, and it is necessary to fill one or more of the reservoirs:
  • Fill the applicable reservoir(s) as follows:
     (a) Get access to the applicable hydraulic reservoir:
1 For the Green hydraulic reservoir:
2 For the Blue hydraulic reservoir:
  • Open the access door 197FB.
3 For the Yellow hydraulic reservoir:
  • Open the access door 196BB.
     (b) Put a person in position at the reservoir you will fill. This person must monitor the contents indicator of the reservoir during the filling procedure. The person must tell you when the reservoir fluid level is correct.
     (c) Fill the reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
     (d) Stop the supply of hydraulic fluid when the person at the reservoir tells you the reservoir is full.

   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Close access:
     (a) Close the access door 197CB.
     (b) For the Green hydraulic reservoir:
     (c) For the Blue hydraulic reservoir:
  • Close the access door 197FB.
     (d) For the Yellow hydraulic reservoir:
  • Close the access door 196BB.
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
