WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM COMPONENTS FOR A SHORT TIME AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE COMPONENTS STAY HOT FOR SOME TIME AND CAN CAUSE INJURY.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the engine.
(6) Make sure that the fan cowl door 437AL is open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
Subtask 29-11-43-941-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- On the Green ground service panel 197CB.
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the engine.
(6) Make sure that the fan cowl door 437AL is open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
B. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(6) Make sure that a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the case drain filter differential pressure indicator.
4. Procedure(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(6) Make sure that a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the case drain filter differential pressure indicator.
Subtask 29-11-43-420-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Engine-Pump Case-Drain Filter Differential Pressure Indicator
(1) Remove the blanking cover from the case drain filter differential pressure indicator port.
(2) Install the ring (20) and the packings (30).
(b) Lubricate the AIPC 29-11-43-02-060 PACKINGS (30) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) and put the packings on the differential pressure indicator (10).
(c) Install the differential pressure indicator (10) in the filter module port.
(d) TORQUE the differential pressure indicator (10) to between 130 and 110 lbf.in (1.47 and 1.24 m.daN )

(e) Safety the differential pressure indicator (10) to the filter module head with lockwire.
Subtask 29-11-43-710-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the blanking cover from the case drain filter differential pressure indicator port.
(2) Install the ring (20) and the packings (30).
CAUTION:
RING (20) IS FITTED AT THE NEAREST POSITION TO THE HEXHEAD.
CAUTION:
USE A NEW RING (20) AND PACKINGS (30) WHEN FITTING THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATOR (10) IN THE FILTER MODULE PORT.
(a) Put the AIPC 29-11-43-02-050 RING (20) on the differential pressure indicator (10). (b) Lubricate the AIPC 29-11-43-02-060 PACKINGS (30) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) and put the packings on the differential pressure indicator (10).
(c) Install the differential pressure indicator (10) in the filter module port.
(d) TORQUE the differential pressure indicator (10) to between 130 and 110 lbf.in (1.47 and 1.24 m.daN )
. (e) Safety the differential pressure indicator (10) to the filter module head with lockwire.
B. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-00-710-001).
(2) During the dry motoring of the Engine 1, make sure that:
