(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
Subtask 29-10-00-010-071-A Subtask 29-10-00-860-061-A (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT in position so that you can drain the hydraulic fluid into it.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
NOTE: The reservoir and its related pipes contain 30 l (7.9251 USgal) of hydraulic fluid when full.

A. Drainage of the Reservoir
(2) Connect the flexible hose to the reservoir drain valve.
(4) Turn the drain valve counter-clockwise.
(6) When the reservoir is empty, turn the drain valve counter-clockwise and release.
(7) Turn the drain valve clockwise to lock it in the closed position.
5. Close-upNOTE: The drain valve of the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(1) Remove flexible hose 1699GM from its stowage on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system. (2) Connect the flexible hose to the reservoir drain valve.
NOTE: It is necessary to use the WRENCH - STANDARD to hold the body of the reservoir drain valve when the flexible hose is connected.
(3) Put the other end of the flexible hose in the container. (4) Turn the drain valve counter-clockwise.
NOTE: When you turn the drain valve counter-clockwise, no fluid will flow until you push the valve in.
(5) Push the drain valve in and turn the valve clockwise to lock the drain valve in the open position. (6) When the reservoir is empty, turn the drain valve counter-clockwise and release.
(7) Turn the drain valve clockwise to lock it in the closed position.
