A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Put a ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the opening of the forward cargo-compartment door.
(4) Set the light switch to on.
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the control panel of the forward cargo-compartment loading-system to tell persons not to use it.

A. Deactivation of the Protection Panels

Clear Area if the Protection Panel is damaged

(1) Identify the protection panel(s) damage limits (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-024).
(2) If the damage prevents correct operation of the decompression panel(s):
(a) Remove the related protection panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-000-001).
(b) Remove all cargo load between the forward partition at frame 24A and the nearest divider net.

5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Set the light switch to off.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Make an entry in the logbook.
(7) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
