A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
   (3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-52-48-910-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Remove the sealant from the entrance guide and the door sill structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
   (2) Clean the entrance guide and the door sill structure.
   (3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (6) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread of the screws.
   (7) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surface of the plate and the entrance guide .

B. Installation of the Entrance Guide
   (1) Put the plate (2) in position and align with the holes in the structure (3).
   (2) Put the entrance guide (6) and (5) in position and align with the holes in the structure (3).
   (3) Install the screws (1).
   (4) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
   (5) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) to the material applied on to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
5. Close-up
Subtask 25-52-48-860-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the Y-guide (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-46-400-001).
   (3) Install the floor panels if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-400-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Close Access
   (1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
