   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the stowage compartment of the seat is empty.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-22-43-560-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (1) Clean the component interface and the floor covering with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that all placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (4) If necessary install new placards, (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007) and (Ref. AMM D/O 11-32-25-00).

B. Installation of the Seat Assembly
F Cabin Attendant Swivel-Seat ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Install the bushes (8), if removed.
   (2) Install the new packings (7) (for the packing P/N refer to the applicable figure in IPC 25-22-09).
   (3) Apply Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) on the bolts (3) and (6).
   (4) Put the seat assembly (1) in position and install the spacers (5), the washers (4) and the bolts (3) and (6).
   (5) TORQUE the bolts (3) and (6) to between 3.22 and 2.69 m.daN (23.75 and 19.84 lbf.ft ) T.
   (6) Connect the electrical connector, if removed:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Connect the electrical connector (2).
   (7) Install the removed equipment in the stowage compartment of the seat.
   (8) Close the access flap (9).
   (9) Cut the synthetic fiber cord Cord-Ligature - - (Material No.
14RBA1) to the necessary length.
NOTE: The cord must be 100 mm (4.0 in.) longer to make a loop in the end of the cord. This step is done to help the next removal procedure.
   (10) Put the cord in position between the seat assembly and the cabin floor.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Smoother - (Material No.06AAE1) to the area between the cabin floor and the seat assembly.
   (12) Put the loop of the fiber cord into the sealant.

B. Installation of the Seat Assembly
F Cabin Attendant Swivel-Seat ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Do a visual inspection of all installation parts:
     (a) Make sure that the installation parts are not damaged and in the correct condition:
       1 If the installation parts are damaged, use the GOODRICH hard point installation-kit (refer to installation instructions INS-2130) and go to step (2).
       2 If the installation parts are in the correct condition, go to step (2).
   (2) If the floor fittings and the seal system are removed, install them as follows:
     (a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (b) Put on GLOVES - COTTON, LINT-FREE, CLEAN.
     (c) If necessary, remove the clear protective film from the new seals (11) and install the seals (11) on the bushes (10).
     (d) Remove the white protective paper from the seals (11) and put the bushes (10) in position in the floor.
     (e) If necessary, remove the clear protective film from the new seals (9) and attach the seals (9) to the bottom of each end of the seal carriers (6). Make sure that the stronger adhesive sides of the seals (9) are attached to the seal carriers (6).
     (f) Remove the white protective paper from the seals (9) and put the seal carriers (6) in position.
     (g) Make sure that the holes of the seal carriers (6) align with the bushes (10) in the floor and push both the ends of the seal carriers (6) down.
   (3) Install the seat assembly (2) as follows:
     (a) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the O-rings (3) that are installed in the grooves on the top of the seal carriers (6).
     (b) Put the seat assembly (2) in position and open the access door (1).
     (c) Apply Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) on the threads of the bolts (5).
     (d) Install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
     (e) TORQUE the bolts (5) to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN ) T.
   (4) Connect the electrical connector (8) as follows:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Connect the electrical connector (8).
     (d) Install the cover (7).
   (5) If you removed the equipment from the stowage compartment of the seat, install the equipment.
   (6) Close the access door (1).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
