   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Cables - Seat to Seat
F Cables - Seat to Seat ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
   (2) Install the cables:
     (a) Start at the power wall disconnect-boxes to install the cables (3).
     (b) Make sure that all cables have protective sleeves (15) at the curves and the front studs of the passenger seats and at the wall disconnect boxes.
     (c) Carefully put the cables (3) in position.
     (d) Make sure that the over length of each cable is less than 250 mm (9.8425 in.).
     (e) Make loops with the over lengths of the cables (3) and put them into the covers of the electronic boxes.
     (f) Install new CABLE TIES (13).
   (3) Connect the electrical connectors:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Connect the electrical connectors (10) to the power wall disconnect-boxes.
     (d) Put the clamps (6) in position and install the screws (5).
     (e) Put the brackets (7) in position and install the screws (8).
     (f) Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the electronic boxes.
     (g) Make sure that all not used connectors have a CAP - PROTECTION.
   (4) Install the covers:
     (a) Install the cable outlets (16) on the race ways.
     (b) Close the covers (14).
     (c) Install the covers (12) and (11) on the race ways.
     (d) Install the applicable seat track covers (17) on the seat tracks.
     (e) Close the race way covers (9).
     (f) Install the removed carpet with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-Carpet Bonding - - (Material No.05PCB2) .
     (g) Put the covers (1) in position and lock the fasteners (2).
     (h) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

A. Installation of the Cables - Seat to Seat

   (1) Install the cables:
     (a) Start at the wall disconnect boxes to install the cables (6).
     (b) Make sure that all cables have protective sleeves (4) with cable ties (5) at:
  • The curves
  • The front studs of the passenger seats
  • The wall disconnect boxes.
     (c) Carefully put the cables (6) in position as recorded in the removal procedure.
     (d) Make sure that the over length of each cable is less than 250 mm (9.8425 in.).
     (e) Make loops with the over lengths of the cables (6) and put them into the covers of the seat electronic boxes.
     (f) Install new CABLE TIES (5).
   (2) Connect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SPRING LATCHES CORRECTLY HOLD THE CONNECTOR IN THE FULLY ENGAGED POSITION. THE SPRING LATCHES PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE CONNECTOR, AND THUS THE RISK OF ARCING, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Connect the electrical connectors (7) to the wall disconnect boxes.
     (d) Connect the electrical connectors (10) to the seat electronic boxes.
     (e) Lock the electrical connectors (7) and (10) with the spring latches (3).
     (f) Install a terminator 101MK on the connectors J2 that are not used at the seat electronic boxes.
     (g) Lock the terminator 101MK with the spring latches (3).
     (h) Make sure that all not used connectors have a CAP - PROTECTION.
   (3) Install the covers:
     (a) Install the cable outlets (15) on the race ways.
     (b) Close the covers (14).
     (c) Install the covers (13) and (12) on the race ways.
     (d) Install the seat track covers (16) on the seat tracks.
     (e) Close the race ways (11).
     (f) Install the removed carpet with double sided tape Double Sided Adhesive Tape-Carpet Bonding - - (Material No.05PCB2) .
     (g) Put the covers (9) in position and lock the fasteners (8) on the wall disconnect boxes.
     (h) Put the covers (1) in position and lock the fasteners (2).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

     (g) Install new CABLE TIES (4).
   (3) Connect the electrical connectors:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Connect the electrical connectors (13) to the power wall disconnect-boxes.
     (d) Put the clamps (9) in position and install the screws (8).
     (e) Put the brackets (10) in position and install the screws (11).
     (f) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the brackets.
     (g) Make sure that all not used connectors have a CAP - PROTECTION.
   (4) Install the covers:
     (a) Close the covers (16).
     (b) Install the cable outlets (17) and the covers (15), (14) on the race ways.
     (c) Install the applicable seat track covers (18) on the seat tracks.
     (d) Close the race way covers (12).
     (e) Install the removed carpet with double sided tape Double Sided Adhesive Tape-Carpet Bonding - - (Material No.05PCB2) .
   (5) Put the covers (1) in position and lock the fasteners (2).
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

A. Installation of the Seat-to-Seat Cables
F Seat-to-Seat Cables ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU INSTALL THE ELECTRICAL CABLES IN THE CORRECT POSITION INTO THE CABLE CHANNEL. DO NOT MAKE KINKS IN THE CABLES, MAKE A LOOP IN THEM TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE IN THE CORRECT CONDITION. IF THEY ARE NOT, REPLACE THEM IMMEDIATELY. DAMAGED CABLES CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO OR FAILURE OF THE EQUIPMENT.
   (2) Install the cables (6) as follows:
     (a) Start at the power wall disconnect-box to install the cables (6).
     (b) Make sure that all cables have protective sleeves (8) installed at the curves.
     (c) Carefully put the cables (6) in position as recorded during the removal procedure.
     (d) Make sure that the overlength of each cable is less than 250 mm (9.8425 in.).
     (e) Make loops with the overlength of the cables (6) and put them into the covers of the related seats.
     (f) Close the clamps (16).
     (g) Install the new CABLE TIES (7).
   (3) Connect the electrical connectors as follows:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Connect the electrical connectors (22) to the power wall disconnect-box.
     (d) Put the clamps (19) in position and install the screws (18).
     (e) Tighten the screws (18).
     (f) Put the bracket (21) in position and install the screws (20).
     (g) Tighten the screws (20).
     (h) Connect the electrical connector (17) to the bracket.
     (i) Connect the electrical connectors (15) to the In-Seat Power Supply Unit (ISPSU).
     (j) Make sure that all not used electrical connectors have a CAP - PROTECTION.
   (4) Install the covers as follows:
     (a) Close the covers (24).
     (b) Install the covers (25) and (26) and the cable outlets (27) on the raceway.
     (c) Install the applicable seat track cover (28) on the seat track.
     (d) Close the raceway covers (23).
     (e) Put the carpet in position and attach it with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-Carpet Bonding - - (Material No.05PCB2) .
     (f) On the tourist class seat, put the covers (11) and (13) in position and engage the fasteners (12) and (14).
     (g) On the Business Class (B/C) seat:
       1 Put the covers (4) and (9) in position and engage the fasteners (5) and (10).
       2 Put the cover (3) in position and install the washer (2) and screw (1).
       3 Tighten the screw (1).
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Installation of the Raceway
F Raceway ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) If you removed the raceway (1) install it:
CAUTION: DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.
     (a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (b) Make sure that the raceway (1) has the correct dimension.
     (c) Unwind the Adhesive Transfer Tape-Non Textile Floor - - (Material No.05NCA2) (2).
     (d) Align the self-adhesive layer (2) with the raceway (1). Install it with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and a light pressure of your hand.
     (e) Cut the self-adhesive layer (2) to the same dimension as the raceway (1).
     (f) Push the self-adhesive layer (2) down with the ROLLER - RUBBER.
     (g) Remove the protective paper from the attached self-adhesive layer (2).
     (h) Put the raceway (1) into the correct position.
     (i) Install the raceway (1) on the floor panels with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and apply a light pressure manually.
