4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the In-Seat Power Supply Unit (ISPSU)
F In-Seat Power-Supply Unit ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put the ISPSU (5) in position and lock the fasteners (6).
   (2) Connect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SPRING LATCHES CORRECTLY HOLD THE CONNECTOR IN THE FULLY ENGAGED POSITION. THE SPRING LATCHES PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE CONNECTOR, AND THUS THE RISK OF ARCING, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
     (a) Install the bonding straps (10) with the washers (9) and the nuts (8) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (d) Connect the electrical connectors (4) and (7) to the ISPSU (5).
     (e) Lock the electrical connectors (4) with the latches (3).
     (f) Make sure that all connectors that are not used have a CAP - PROTECTION.
   (3) Put the cover (2) in position and lock the fasteners (1).

B. Installation of the In-Seat Power Supply Unit (ISPSU)
F In-Seat Power-Supply Unit ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put the ISPSU (11) in position and lock the fasteners (8).
   (2) Connect the electrical connectors:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SPRING LATCHES CORRECTLY HOLD THE CONNECTOR IN THE FULLY ENGAGED POSITION. THE SPRING LATCHES PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE CONNECTOR, AND THUS THE RISK OF ARCING, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
     (a) Install the bonding straps (15) with the washers (14) and the nuts (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (d) Connect the electrical connectors (9) and (12) to the ISPSU (11).
     (e) Lock the electrical connectors (9) with the spring latches (10).
   (3) Put the seat pan (2) in position.
   (4) Install the spacers (5), the washers (6), the screws (7), the washers (4) and the nuts (3).
   (5) Install the seat cushions (1).
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Installation of the ISPSU
F Seat Power-Supply Unit ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Hold the ISPSU (10) in position and engage the fasteners (7).
   (2) Connect the electrical connectors:
     (a) Connect the bonding strap (12) and install the washer (13) and the nut (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
     (d) Connect the electrical connectors (8) and (11) to the ISPSU (10).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SPRING LATCHES CORRECTLY HOLD THE CONNECTOR IN THE FULLY ENGAGED POSITION. THE SPRING LATCHES PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE CONNECTOR, AND THUS THE RISK OF ARCING, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
     (e) Engage the spring latches (9).
     (f) Make sure that all not used connectors have a CAP - PROTECTION.
   (3) Put the cover (6) in position and engage the fasteners (5) on the tourist class seat.
   (4) For the Business Class (B/C) seat:
     (a) Put the cover (4) in position and engage the fasteners (5).
     (b) Put the cover (3) in position and install the washer (2) and the screw (1).
     (c) Tighten the screw (1).
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
