Apply Temporary Protection to the End Fittings of Electrical Conduits in the Air Conditioning Compartment

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the wing and the center fuselage.
(2) For the center fuselage.
(a) Remove the access panels: 191BB, 191KB, 192FB, 192KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
(b) Open the L and R main landing-gear doors at zone 734 and 744 (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the wing and the center fuselage.
(2) For the center fuselage.
(a) Remove the access panels: 191BB, 191KB, 192FB, 192KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
(b) Open the L and R main landing-gear doors at zone 734 and 744 (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

A. Protection of the End Fittings of the Electrical Conduits in the Air Conditioning Compartment with Temporary Protective Material
(a) Use Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove any contamination from the fitting.
(b) Remove any flakes or blisters, make sure that the you do not damage the base metal while you do this task.
5. Close-upWARNING:
BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT YOUR FINGERS. FLAKES OF NICKEL ARE SHARP.
(1) At each fitting use the procedure that follows to protect against corrosion: (a) Use Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove any contamination from the fitting.
(b) Remove any flakes or blisters, make sure that the you do not damage the base metal while you do this task.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a dental tool or a seal tool (non metallic) to remove the flakes and the blisters.
(c) Use a BRUSH - BRISTLED or an SPRAY - BOTTLE, PUMP TYPE (NON AEROSOL) to apply a continuous thin and smooth coat of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) , to cover all the fitting ESPM 203330. Subtask 24-92-00-410-057-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the center fuselage.
(a) Install the access panels: 191BB, 191KB, 192FB, 192KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Close the L and R main landing-gear doors at zone 734 and 744 (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Disconnect the aircraft from the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the center fuselage.
(a) Install the access panels: 191BB, 191KB, 192FB, 192KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Close the L and R main landing-gear doors at zone 734 and 744 (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Disconnect the aircraft from the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
