IDG FeedersSubtask 24-92-00-860-083-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 24-92-00-010-075-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

(1) Removal of the access panels

(2) Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

(4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

(4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

(4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

(2) Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

4. Procedure(1) Removal of the access panels

(2) Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(4) In the zone 131, remove the sidewall and partition panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(a) For the left IDG feeders:

A. Removal of the IDG feeder cables
(1) Disconnect the feeder cables from the right side of the pylon:
(a) Remove the bolts (27), the washers (28) and the plate (29).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector from the connector (19).
(c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(d) Remove the four nuts (18) and the four screws (21).
(e) Disengage the connector (19) from the engine electrical box (20).
(f) Remove the nut (14), the washer (15) and the bolt (17) from the clamp (16).
(g) Remove the bolt (13) and the washer (12) from the clamp (11).
(h) Remove and discard the lockwire (22) from the two screws (23).
(i) Remove the screws (23) and the cover (24) from the terminal block (25).
(j) Remove the nuts (26) and disconnect the electrical feeders from the terminal block (25).
(2) Loosen the nut (31) of the pressure seal (32) on the wing above the pylon.
(3) Remove the bolt (33) and the washer (34) from the clamp (37).
(4) Remove the sealant from the bolt (35).
(5) Remove the bolt (35) from the ground point (36).
(6) Loosen the nut (45) of the pressure seal (46) at the wing and cargo compartment junction.
(7) Disconnect the electrical feeders in the cargo compartment:
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire (42) from the two screws (41).
(b) Remove the screws (41) and the cover (43) from the terminal block (44).
(c) Remove the nuts (40) and disconnect the electrical feeders from the terminal block (44).
(8) Removal of the cable supports along the IDG feeder cables:
(a) Cut and remove all the cable ties (1).
(b) Remove all the bolts (3), the plate (4) and the spacers (5).
(c) Remove all the bolts (7) and the nuts (8).
(d) Remove all the nuts (9) and the bolts (10).
(e) Disengage all the cable supports (2).
(9) Removal of the IDG feeder cables:
(1) Disconnect the feeder cables from the right side of the pylon:
(a) Remove the bolts (27), the washers (28) and the plate (29).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector from the connector (19).
(c) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(d) Remove the four nuts (18) and the four screws (21).
(e) Disengage the connector (19) from the engine electrical box (20).
(f) Remove the nut (14), the washer (15) and the bolt (17) from the clamp (16).
(g) Remove the bolt (13) and the washer (12) from the clamp (11).
(h) Remove and discard the lockwire (22) from the two screws (23).
(i) Remove the screws (23) and the cover (24) from the terminal block (25).
(j) Remove the nuts (26) and disconnect the electrical feeders from the terminal block (25).
(2) Loosen the nut (31) of the pressure seal (32) on the wing above the pylon.
(3) Remove the bolt (33) and the washer (34) from the clamp (37).
(4) Remove the sealant from the bolt (35).
(5) Remove the bolt (35) from the ground point (36).
(6) Loosen the nut (45) of the pressure seal (46) at the wing and cargo compartment junction.
(7) Disconnect the electrical feeders in the cargo compartment:
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire (42) from the two screws (41).
(b) Remove the screws (41) and the cover (43) from the terminal block (44).
(c) Remove the nuts (40) and disconnect the electrical feeders from the terminal block (44).
(8) Removal of the cable supports along the IDG feeder cables:
(a) Cut and remove all the cable ties (1).
(b) Remove all the bolts (3), the plate (4) and the spacers (5).
(c) Remove all the bolts (7) and the nuts (8).
(d) Remove all the nuts (9) and the bolts (10).
(e) Disengage all the cable supports (2).
(9) Removal of the IDG feeder cables:
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL NOT TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE IDG FEEDERS WHEN YOU REMOVE/INSTALL THEM.
(a) Remove the IDG feeder cables from the wing, the pylon and the cargo compartment.
