A. Cleaning of the Cockpit Equipment/Furnishings
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (1) Clean the inner surface of the cockpit windows:
(Ref. AMM TASK 56-10-00-110-001),
(Ref. AMM TASK 56-10-00-110-002)
and
(Ref. AMM TASK 56-10-00-110-003).
   (2) Clean the foam plastic (polyurethane) parts (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-00-100-001).
   (3) Clean the overhead panel, the glareshild, the main instrument panel, the lateral consoles and the center pedestal:
     (a) Put a CAP - PROTECTION on each electrical outlet.
     (b) Remove the loose dirt from the surface with a BRUSH - BRISTLED, FIBER, SOFT and a VACUUM CLEANER.
CAUTION: USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED MATERIALS AND OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURERS. OTHER MATERIALS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION OF THE COMPONENTS AND THE RELATED AREA.
     (c) Moisten a clean lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) with Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Interior - - (Material No.08ACA1) and apply it to the surface you will clean.
NOTE: To prevent contamination of the cleaning agent, do not put the cloth into the cleaning agent.
     (d) Moisten a clean lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) with warm clean water and lightly rub the surface you will clean.
NOTE: Always make the cloth moist, not the part you will clean.
     (e) Dry the surface with a clean lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (4) Clean the Seats:
     (a) Clean the seats as given in the of the seat manufacturer (Ref. CMM 25-11-XX).
   (5) Remove the protection caps from the electrical outlets.
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
