A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the windshield at zone 210.
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the wiper selector switch to tell persons not to operate the windshield wipers.
(3) Make sure that the windshield wipers are in the parking position.

Subtask 56-10-00-110-054-A

A. Cleaning Procedure
(1) Clean the outer surface of the windshields.
(a) Clean the outer surface of the windshields with a sponge and a solution 1/3 isopropyl alcohol Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and 2/3 water.
(b) Dry with a CHAMOIS LEATHER or clean and dry with lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Clean the inner surface of the windshields.
(a) Clean the inner surface of the windshields with a sponge and a solution 1/3 isopropyl alcohol Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and 2/3 water.
(b) Dry with a CHAMOIS LEATHER or clean and dry with lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Clean the inner surface of the windshield with a soft liner (self-healing liner, SGS (formerly SPS) supplier, P/N SPSA320...).

NOTE: These cleaning procedures are only applicable for the windshield panel with a soft liner on the inner surface (SGS (formerly SPS) supplier, P/N SPSA320...).

NOTE: Do not remove the soft liner from the windshield. The soft liner is part of the windshield. If it is necessary to replace the soft liner, you must remove the windshield and send it to the Vendor. Only the Vendor is approved to replace the soft liner.

(a) Cleaning procedure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-Windshield Hydro-Carbon Based - (Material No.08BKE1) .
1 Clean the inner surface of the windshield with Non Aqueous Cleaner-Windshield Hydro-Carbon Based - (Material No.08BKE1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
2 Apply the product with circular movements on all the surface and specially where there are dirt marks.
3 When the product is dry, remove it with lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(b) Alternative cleaning procedure.
1 Clean the inner surface of the windshield with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Naphta based and Alcohol - (Material No.08BBC1) or Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Methyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBE1) . (Material No. 11-006).
2 If dirt marks remain clean with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) .
(4) Removal of remaining rain-repellent fluid from the windshields.
(a) If there is a thin layer of rain-repellent fluid, apply the Non Aqueous Cleaner-Rain Repellent remover - - (Material No.08BEA1) .

rub until there is no rain-repellent on the windshields.

(b) Clean the surface of the windshields with a SPONGE and a solution 1/3 isopropyl alcohol Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and 2/3 water.
(c) Dry with a CHAMOIS LEATHER or clean and dry with lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

5. Close-up
